Torn Apart

Logo for death metal solo project titled "Torn Apart" based out in Lloydminster, Alberta, from the sick mind of Chad Mitchell (aka. Buck Hanson, aka. Chuck Cheesefoot, aka. Heaty Sleecer). The inspiration for this logo stems from old school death metal logos (more particularly, the gruesome shaped logos often seen in Swedish death metal bands). Some of the top letters are shaped like a rib cage being torn apart, as it were, while the bottom letters resemble a pelvic girdle being crushed. It also draws quite a bit of influence from the Dismember logo, drawn by Nicke Andersson of Entombed. It is an old school style band logo, vectorized and polished for today.
