Rising From the Eastern Depths

This is another photo edit of one of my favorite photos I've taken during my vacation in Nova Scotia back in 2016. Considering I don't do much traveling, it was an amazing week exploring the furthest I've ever been away from home by myself (aside from one of my best friends). This was edited on Affinity Designer for the iPad Pro. I figured since I've done quite a bit on Photoshop up to this point, I figured I'd get myself more acquainted with Serif's Affinity software.

The first edit includes some additional elements, such as the sphere in the clouds and the stone hand rising from the ocean. This also makes significant use of halftones and screen tones all throughout.

The second edit with some significant changes from the other. The first notable one is the starry sky, with the radiant nebula and aurora borealis. The next is the stone hand has a different color scheme from the first one.
